I'm an SEO & Digital Growth Strategist based in Chennai, working at the intersection of search, content, and audience data. Most of my career has been spent inside newsrooms — taking large, established news properties and finding the next stage of organic growth in them, rather than starting from a blank slate.
I currently lead Senior SEO at The New Indian Express (since April 2026), where my work spans SEO, social growth, and cross-team strategy across the group's digital properties — including Dinamani, which climbed to the No. 1 comScore rank among Tamil news sites in June 2026. Before this, at Daily Thanthi, I helped grow monthly traffic from 3.2M to 8.9M and delivered over 52M pageviews, while the site held No. 2 in comScore among Tamil digital media and No. 1 in print circulation.
My approach starts with data — search behavior, content performance, platform trends — before moving into strategy: technical SEO, content built to actually rank and read well, and close coordination with editorial, UI/UX, and AdOps teams. It's a slower way to work than chasing quick wins, but it's what holds up over 9+ years.
